# Guild Discord

## **How to gate a Discord server**

**1. Navigate to** [**Guild.xyz**](https://guild.xyz/) **and click 'Create Guild'**

**2. Choose Discord from platforms**

**3. Connect wallet**

* Your address serves as your default ID. Connect address you want as Guild owner.

**4. Connect social account**

* Required step to access your Discord servers. Social accounts and wallets can be managed under your Guild account top right corner. Details: [Wallets & Social Accounts](https://help.guild.xyz/en/articles/6934741-wallets-social-accounts)

**7. Set basic information to create Guild**

* Set logo, name, and URL, add description, and contact information, only visible to the Guild Team for support and partnership initiatives.

8. **Set requirements, roles, and rewards\*\***

* Edit existing role or create new ones. Customize roles and combine off- and onchain requirements, using different logic gates for more complexity.

**9. Customize Guild**

* Set description, customize appearance and edit privacy settings with the gear icon.
