To set up Collab.Land to gate your Discord server, you need to follow these steps:
Create Server: Create your Discord server
Set up roles: Create roles in Discord for your token community
Invite the bot to your community: Once you have installed the bot and set up the rules, you can invite the bot to your community.
Accept the bot's permission request: The bot will request certain permissions in order to function properly. You can find more information on the required permissions here.
2 New channels will be created; #collab-join and “collab-config”. #collab-join will be for people to connect their wallets for verification. #collab-config, we wont worry about because we will use the Command Center.
Log into the Command Center and add to server and authorize https://cc.collab.land/login
Set up the gates and requirements: You can set up the rules for your community by visiting the Collab.Land Command Center. Here, you can create Token Granted Roles (TGRs) which are the requirements for roles. You can find more information on how to create TGRs here.
Create a balance-based TGR
Click select role to select a Discord role and start
Set the minimum amount of tokens (required)
Enter your tokens Smart Contract address (ERC20)
